Maggie's Story

Maggie was an old soul with a big heart.  She had a gentle way of letting every person she came in contact with know they were important.  Maggie lived in Boston, and worked at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she was as friendly and genuine towards the world renown doctors, as the person struggling on the streets.  Helping those in need was more than a passion for her, she saw it as our society’s obligation to help others, whether humans or pets, during difficult times.
 
Maggie unfortunately suffered for over a decade from many physical and mental illnesses. She battled through her physical illnesses, but following years of treatment and multiple experimental therapies for depression, she lost the battle on March 19, 2019, at the young age of 29. 
 
Maggie’s Way was created to honor her legacy and continue spreading her shining spirit of caring about others.
